KOLHAPUR DISTRICT CENTRAL COOP BANK has started finance to women for business through Self Help Group Since the year 2000 & JLG from 2012. The Main object is to identify appropriate economic activities for women. A separate women development cell has been established for financing these groups in the year 2001 with NABARD support.

In the socioeconomic environment bank help in identifying and addressing different needs in developing the strengths and potentials of women by way of Self Help Group by disbursing loans to the needy. To make the rural women equal partners in the economic prosperity of District.

Bank is working with Self Help Group member’s together to formation and growth communities through policies at local and block level for social and economic demands. Ex. Housing, Health, Retail, Food, Utilities and Agriculture.

To strengthen the activity bank also provide and guide this women by arranging capacity development programs with the support of NABARD.

Bank is implementing women development cell and Gender Equality movement with support of NABARD, ZILLA PARISHAD , MAHILA ARTHIK VIKAS MAHAMANDAL & NGO.

As on Dt. 31/03/2020 Bank has formed 42566 Self Help Group and 32757groups are linked for credit this is cumulative position. women members are associated with these groups. Bank has Disbursed Rs.11719.95lacs to Self Help Group. These all are women groups.

Bank is a leading player in JLG formation/credit linkage & has formed 30178JLGs out of which 3071 has been Disbursed.

Features of new credit policy for SHG & JLG

SHG / MSRLM

Both Cash Credit & Term Loans facilities will be available
Bank Sanction Short & Term loan considering Age of the group in case of first loan up to Rs. 1,00,000/-
Repayment is from 12months to 60 months

JLG

Short term as well as Medium & Long Term loans facilities are available
Repayment tenure is from 12months to 84 Months
Loan amount is up to Rs. 10,00,000/-
Repayment installment is monthly basis.

AWARDED by DRDA (Zilla Parishd)of Best Performing Bank in the District in “ Formatio & Credit Linkage of SHGs under MSRLM – for the year 2014-2015&2015-2016.

Bank has finance three Self Help Group jointly for establishing Rural Mart (Bajar) called Kamdhenu a sum of Rs. 7.45 lakh. Said project is in village Herle Taluka Hatkanangale. NABARD assist Rs. 90000 /- for this Group under Rural Mart Scheme.

Under Project Finance Bank has sanction Rs.10,00,000/- to JLG for Garment Project.

Annasheb Patil Arthik Magas Vikas Mahamandal under this scheme Bank has sanction project loan for two SHG. Rs.10,00,000/-per SHG.

FACILITIES AND SCHEMES IMPLEMENTED BY BANK FOR Self Help Group

To avail the market to products prepared by women bank is arranging every year exhibition cum spot sale on various occasions. In this year we are arrange the state level exhibition.

Orientation training program for women.

Bank passes state govt. interest sub- venation for prompt payment directly to women’s account.

Bank has construct permanent marketing centre in head office premise where women members from Self Help Group on rotation basic sale their product regularly.

Product of women Self Help Group are show cased for marketing purpose in women development cell .

Bank is working as self help promoting institute (SHPI).

Micro entrepreneur development program:- under this program 240 & 450 Self Help Group members were trained.

Separate team of officers are appointed at taluka level.

Per month target is given to each branch and staff.

Accounts of women’s are open under No Frill Account to avail banking facilities.

Create awareness of Govt. scheme PMSBY & PMJJBY to SHG members.

Also Rupay Debit Card provide to SHG members.
